Fees & Insurance
Fees
50-Minute individual session: $200
Initial diagnostic assessments: $235
Insurance
I offer in-network therapy through Aetna. I use Headway, a third party company that manages insurance.
For out-of-network coverage, I can provide a Superbill at the end of each month which you can submit to your insurance company. Clients who are out-of-network should call the number on the back of your insurance card to confirm your benefits and learn how to submit an out-of-network reimbursement claim.

No Surprise Act
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost — especially if you’re uninsured or choose not to use your insurance (i.e., you are self-paying).
This law is designed to protect clients from unexpected medical bills, including those for mental health services provided by out-of-network or private-pay practitioners.
You Have the Right To:
Receive a Good Faith Estimate in writing before your first scheduled service.
Request an estimate at any time, even if you haven’t scheduled an appointment yet.
Dispute a bill that is $400 or more above the estimated cost you received.
What If Your Final Bill Is Higher?
If you receive a bill that is $400 or more higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you can file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) within 120 days of receiving the bill by Visiting https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises or calling 1-800-985-3059
You’ll need to provide: a copy of your Good Faith Estimate, the final bill, any supporting documentation.
Georgia-Specific Notes
In Georgia, mental health clinicians in private practice may not be classified as “health care facilities” under state surprise billing laws, but the federal No Surprises Act still applies for all uninsured or self-pay clients.
Please note: If you are using insurance, this law may not apply in the same way, and you should contact your insurance provider about in-network and out-of-network benefits.
