About Me

As a queer, neurodivergent therapist, my top priority is always understanding you—your perspective, your values, and what matters most to you. I believe our experiences are shaped by who we are: both the identities we choose and the ones that are given to us. That’s why I approach therapy with a deep focus on meeting you where you are and honoring your unique story.

My approach is influenced by a blend of multicultural theory, feminist theory, liberation psychology, and disability justice (my absolute favorite soapbox!). I believe therapy should be a space where we can explore how societal pressures and norms have shaped us, and how we can begin to break free from those expectations. Together, we’ll look at how your identity, experiences, and the world around you have impacted your journey—and work on healing and growth that feels authentic to you.

My Clients

I work with adults who are navigating a wide range of challenges, including trauma— PTSD, childhood adversity, discrimination, or attachment issues. My clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, struggling in their relationships, or exploring their identities and we work to get them to a place of clarity and calm.

I also work with clients experiencing big life changes, grief, and existential concerns. If you’re facing questions about purpose, meaning, or what comes next, know that you're not alone. Wherever you are in your journey, I’m here to help you make sense of it, find clarity, and move forward in a way that feels right for you.

Professional Background

I am a Licensed Psychologist in the state of Georgia and I received my PhD in Clinical/Counseling Psychology at Utah State University. I completed my APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Atlanta VA Medical Center and my post-doctoral residency with Emory University School of Medicine at Grady Hospital. I’m currently a member of the Georgia Psychological Association and serve as Chair of the GPA Social Justice Committee. I am also a member of PSYPACT enabling me to serve clients in 40+ states via Tele-health.

My training included multiple theoretical approaches, including cognitive-behavioral treatments, person-centered therapy, attachment theory, and interpersonal process theory. I often draw from Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as I appreciate their focus on increasing self-understanding and utilizing skills to help us feel more empowered to experience difficult emotions without feeling overcome by them.
